Calling Out For Help

I have written my first post for my new blog page about our journey with dyslexia, but I seem to be having a problem...

I can't decide on a name!

I started off with...

Overcoming Dyslexia...

But, then I thought BLAH, be more original!

I am stuck, so I am calling in my wonderful blog land friends for help.

HELP! please :)

So, let me give you a brief synopsis for why the blog in the first place and maybe you can help me?!?

I want to start this page because I know that even though we are faced with what at times, seems to be a mountain, I know God can move mountains (maybe that's a good name, no one would know what it's about though). I want to share with others our journey in hopes that it will help and encourage someone else out there, going through something similar. I also want to keep a record of our journey, for the future, so I never forget what it was like, and how God was faithful.

So, friends, what do you think? anything come to mind? Even if it's just a hogde podge of words that come to mind, please share them with me.

I want the name to declare God's glory, yet show that it's about dyslexia.

How about Blessed with Dyslexia... that was a topic in our Sunday School class this morning being blessed with challanges...when things happen in our lives it is all in how we handle them...I am starting to call it -I am bless with??? whatever it may be...Giving God the Glory all the way through my journey. Hope that helps.Have a great day.

Thanks Belinda! I will put that one on my list of possibilities.

You mention a mountain ... I wonder if you could incorporate that into your blog title? "Dyslexia Isn't a Mountain" or "View from the Mountain of Dyslexia." I know they sound contradictory, but one empahsizes that dyslexia can be dealt with, the other emphasizes the view once dyslexia has been addressed. Note: I like Belinda's suggestion.

Daveda,

I would agree with either Belinda or Warrens' choices. Both of them identify exactly what you are blogging about and the challenges and issues most parents will face.

"Facing Dyslexia" could be another option.

Warren & Kat -Thanks to you both.

Some of the words running through my mind are: Challenge, Mountain, overcome, faced, journey...

What about: "Overcoming Dyslexia...The Story of Our Journey"

For some reason the whole "Overcoming Dyslexia" Theme won't leave my mind...

How about "Mountains of love and our hill with Dyslexia"?????? Sorry, I'm not overly the creative type :-( I know from our own experience with our eldest son and his medical challenges that it was always one hill at a time and lots of prayers to God.
Blessings, Rhonda

OK, for me....when you speak of the mountains and challenges you are facing, I see the word COURAGE.

so how about something with the word

enCOURAGE

I am only on my first cup of coffee, I'll come back with more!

Daveda,

I know I am late in suggesting so you may have already chosen a title....If not, here are a few of the thoughts/questions I had....

Do you have a specific scripture you are standing on in regards to this blog?? If so, can you incorporate a title along with the scripture?

Do your sons know you are doing this and if so write down the ones that speak to you and then ask everyone to pray over them, then come back together and say which ones you like and why....My guess is that the Lord will bring unity in this title seach amongst all of you and you will know that you know what it should be!

love and blessings you you! This is gonna be goood! Be patient .....it will come!

Loren, Thanks friend. I know it will be come, at the right time. In the mean time, I am really enjoying the suggestions.

I really like RCubes idea. I think of valley's and mountain tops. Like life you will experience these yet you will go through it with Christ carrying you through the difficult times.

I am anxious to start reading your blog posts about Dyslexia.

God bless you as you travel down this road with Jesus.
